Fine wood molding is the crowning glory of a beautiful floor. Accord Flooring has several types of molding to complement any flooring need. Our molding is pre-finished to match each species of flooring and is precision milled.
Accord’s molding is available in the following styles for 5/16" Solid or Engineered installation:
- Reducer Molding: Connects hardwood flooring to other types of flooring (vinyl or low pile carpet) and is attached with adhesive.
- T-Molding: When two different flooring surfaces are used, this molding provides a smooth surface between the two types of flooring, for example ceramic tile and hardwood or carpet and hardwood.
- Baseboard:The classic finish to your laminate floor; used where wall and flooring meet
- Quarter Round Molding: This type of molding is used to cover the space between the wall and the flooring. Pre-drilling is required and it must be nailed to the wall and not the floor.
- Stairnose Molding: This beautiful molding lends an elegantly finished look to stairways. Stair nose can be fastened with adhesive or nails. Pre-drilling is required to prevent the wood from splitting, if it is nailed.
- End Molding:Finishes the space where flooring ends such as sliding glass doors, along wall bases, door thresholds and carpet.
